AAP Primadomus is the Spanish branch of Stichting AAP, a Dutch organisation with 40 years of expertise in the rescue and rehabilitation of exotic animals. AAP Primadomus, operating in Villena (Alicante) since November 2009, is a young organisation developing into the leader rescue centre in Spain. We work in close collaboration with the Spanish Government, to whom we provide our knowledge and service for the rescue and care of confiscated exotic animals, in our role of Official CITES Rescue Centre. Our main goal is to stop the animal suffering by working for the prevention of the illegal trade, the use of exotic animals in entertainment and the private ownership.
In order to contribute the present and future development of AAP Primadomus in Villena, we are looking for a
Fundraiser (40h/week)
an enthusiastic team player with affinity for animal welfare.
Main responsibilities:
– To start the fundraising activities for AAP Primadomus (new department).
– To achieve the goals and results established in the AAP Primadomus short and long term plan
– To report to AAP Primadomus Manager and work in close collaboration with our Dutch colleagues
If you are a professional:
– With at least 3 years of experience in Marketing related positions (Spanish market), preferably in the NGO sector
– With medium/higher education in: Business, Journalism, Publicity or similar
– With high English level (both written and spoken), which enables you to communicate fluently with your colleagues at AAP Primadomus and at our headquarters in Almere (The Netherlands).
– With experience in offline marketing (especially face to face) and online marketing (social media, telemarketing, web positioning)
– With experience in communicating with different target groups, organizing events and designing means and materials
And you:
– Are able to work independently on a senior level
– Are a result oriented professional
– Have good social skills to manage contacts with different target groups, with high social sensitivity
– Are creative in finding solutions to all sorts of challenges
– Have availability to travel and work in unsocial hours, as well as to work under pressure
– Have Spanish B driving license and own car
